Information on taxes, customs duties and handling fees for international deliveries

The VAT rates applicable to your order depend on the product and vary in each country.
Additionally, depending on the destination country for your shipment, customs duties and handling fees may also be applicable. Here are the current regulations, which are subject to change without notice:

The following applies to deliveries to countries in the European Union (EU):

Private customers:
For deliveries within the EU, the VAT rate of the recipient country will be applicable – as of 1 July 2021.

Business customers:
For deliveries to a company based in an EU member state, no value added tax (VAT) will be applicable provided that a valid VAT Identification Number (VAT ID no.) for the respective EU country has been provided.

Please note: If a valid VAT ID number is not provided, the VAT rate applicable to the recipient country will be applied.

The following applies to international deliveries to countries outside of the EU:

No value added tax (VAT) are charged for international orders outside of the EU.

Customs clearance: When a shipment is imported into a country outside the EU, the process of customs clearance is the responsibility of the shipping service provider or a customs agent of your choice. Any associated costs, including customs duties and associated handling fees, will be billed to the shipment’s recipient prior to delivery, and your goods will be released for delivery only after payment has been made.

The applicable import cost differs for each country, influenced by varying import regulations, customs policies and tariff rates, which prevents us from offering precise information.

Certain countries may require additional import documentation, including certificates of origin and import licenses. Generally, we are able to provide and include the standard documents. In other instances, our knowledgeable team is ready to support you with your requests and the necessary processing.

Based on the Brussels Tariff Number (customs tariff code), which you will find under online shop under the bar code, you are able to check the applicable customs duties at local customs office.

For US customers, please be advised that products containing metal (steel/aluminium) are currently incurring a higher tariff rate for imports into the United States.

To determine the specific regulations governing imports and rates in your country, please consult your local customs office.

Important Shipping Notice for USA and Canda:
Depending on your exact delivery address, a UPS imposed Extended Area Surcharge (EAS) will apply to remote or less populated delivery locations. If this surcharge is applicable, we will contact you immediately via email before processing your payment or shipping with the recalculated shipping cost for your approval
