Neuland GmbH & Co. KG in der Frankfurter Paulskirche für 20-jährige BVMW-Mitgliedschaft geehrt

Neuland GmbH & Co. KG honoured at Frankfurt’s Paulskirche for 20 years of BVMW membership

In these dynamic economic times, consistency, trust and a strong network are the key pillars of business success. For Neuland GmbH & Co. KG, the year 2026 marks a special milestone in this regard: the company can look back on 20 years of active membership of the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW). This exceptional loyalty has now been honoured in a festive and high-profile setting.

The BVMW Hessen Annual Reception took place on Thursday, 7 May 2026, in Frankfurt’s historic Paulskirche – the cradle of German democracy and thus a more than fitting venue for such an honour. In front of around 400 invited guests from the worlds of business, politics and society, Neuland GmbH & Co. KG was honoured for its long-standing commitment to the association. The company thus holds the second-longest membership in the entire Hessian regional association.

A prestigious honour on a historic stage
Michael Kapsa, Head of Sales at Neuland GmbH & Co. KG, accepted the certificate of honour on stage at St Paul’s Church. The award was presented by former Senator Christoph Ahlhaus, Chairman of the Federal Executive Board of the BVMW. In his laudatory speech, Ahlhaus praised the reliability and exemplary role of companies that have been actively involved in the association’s work for decades, thereby strengthening the foundations of economic exchange.

The pivotal role of the BVMW for small and medium-sized enterprises
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are regarded as the backbone of the German economy, yet they face enormous challenges in the face of global competition and bureaucratic hurdles. A strong association such as the BVMW is of vital importance to them. It acts as a voice in the political arena, brings together the interests of SMEs and creates framework conditions that individual companies often cannot achieve on their own.

The fundamental importance of the SME sector was also highlighted by City Councillor Stephanie Wüst, Head of the Department for Economic Affairs, Legal Affairs and City Marketing for the City of Frankfurt am Main, in her highly acclaimed keynote speech. She emphasised that the region’s prosperity and innovative strength are largely driven by visionary SMEs that are prepared to take on responsibility and cultivate networks.

Networking as a strategic success factor
For Neuland GmbH & Co. KG, loyalty to the association is not merely a formality, but an integral part of the corporate culture. During the event, Head of Sales Michael Kapsa highlighted the practical benefits of the partnership:

“The BVMW offers SMEs in general, but particularly here in Hesse, a perfect platform for active and sustainable networking. In a constantly changing market environment, direct, cross-sector exchange is worth its weight in gold. All participating companies can only benefit from the resulting synergies and personal contacts. For Neuland, the past 20 years in the association have been a valuable driver of innovation and cooperation.”

With this award under its belt, Neuland GmbH & Co. KG looks to the future with renewed confidence and will continue to actively champion a strong, connected and sustainable SME sector in the region.
