Alles auf Anfang: Schönschreiben ist für manchen Neuland.

Back to square one: Calligraphy is uncharted territory for some.

Lelelelelelele, wiwiwiwiwiwiwi, nonononono: many of us had to practice that back in elementary school. We slowly drew wavy lines and squiggles on the paper, making sure we stayed within the light gray lines in our school notebooks. Our knuckles turned white with concentration, and with daily practice, we got a little better—until even others could read it.

Ouch! That's exactly what many of us have lost – it's faster and more legible with a computer, right? Until the day we have to take notes during a brainstorming session on a flip chart, or even put a conference presentation down on paper in a large, live format for everyone to see. On such an occasion, with a thick marker on A0 paper, even passable draftsmen reveal themselves to be terrible writers – because they lack practice.

Oh dear… – but it's easy to catch up: For over thirty years, Neuland has offered everything needed for successful conferences, presentations, training sessions, and meetings – from flip charts to 0.1 mm thick markers – and this year they're focusing on hand lettering on paper. At the Neuland booth at TYPO Berlin »wanderlust« from May 25th to 27th, 2017, Dominik Parson and Laila Silva-Tello will be presenting markers for a wide variety of uses, the new Hand Lettering Learning Pad in flip chart format, and the "to go" writing practice pad, which Neuland developed in collaboration with the internationally renowned artist and writer Heather Martinez . TYPO visitors are warmly invited to try out these products (and their own writing skills) at the booth.
And on Friday at 4:00 PM, alicensed bikablo® trainer will be at the booth: he will present the unique visualization method of “Visual Recording”, give tips and answer questions about it.

In addition, a prize draw with attractive and useful prizes will take place throughout TYPO, with the winners being drawn on Saturday at 18:00.
Wow! It's definitely worth stopping by the Neuland booth and testing out your own handwriting…
