Turning everything upside down. We like that.

In the foreword to our current catalog, Guido Neuland talks about the importance of approaching familiar things in a completely different way and rethinking them – practicing "thinking outside the box." As if to prove this point, our current product range includes several totally new and "backwards" items. For example, white markers paired with black paper.
I've tried both.
I've been playing around with the two WhiteOnes (the thick one and the thin one) and the black myNotepad . I don't want to talk too much, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves – and where that's not enough, the captions. Ready to go?
It works great for sketchnoting. A whole day – from brushing your teeth to going to bed – looks quite decorative in white on black. (Even if the day itself wasn't all that great.)

Pastel chalks – in this case, ancient Pelikan pastel pencils – add color. (And you should apply plenty: because the paper absorbs a lot of it when fixing. So be careful!)

I made this drawing on the subway in the evening, using the WhiteOne, the NoOne and smudged pastel chalks, so art is possible too, but you should have a clipboard with you, because the cardboard backing is quite thin.

And lo and behold, even simple metaphors like those used in graphic recording or graphic facilitation have a completely new and different effect. (Demonstrated here by the idea that the artist no longer needs to be afraid of the blank page.)
