Double the line capacity of your New Land Marker

How to draw two lines at once on paper with just one stroke, using only a Neuland marker and a cutter.

Obtain materials

For the double-line BigOne you need a Neuland BigOne® with a writing tip that is as unused as possible and a cutter.

Lid off and let's go!

Remove the cap from your BigOne and set it aside – but not too far away, so you can quickly close the marker again when you're finished. This is especially important with outliners, as the tip will otherwise dry out. Next, slide the blade of your cutter out of the housing and carefully cut a triangular notch into the tip. Now you can tell whether the tip is new or used. Used tips become soft and difficult to cut. In this case, take a replacement tip and cut the notch into it before replacing it.

The double-line rally stripe BigOne is finished.

You can influence the width of the two lines by the size of the notch. Likewise, you can adjust the distance between the lines. You could also create one wide and one narrow line if you don't cut the notch exactly in the middle.
