Your Marker: Du zeichnest, wir bedrucken!

Your Marker: You draw, we print!

Want to have your drawing or lettering printed on your favorite Neuland markers? No problem! You draw, we print! Here's how:

Step 1: Preparing Your Marker

First and foremost, it's important to know which Neuland marker you want to print on, as the print area varies depending on the type. Once you've decided, you can download and print the appropriate document for your chosen marker.

Since we just tested this method for the first time at the Visual Thinking Global Summit , there are currently only a few marker types to choose from. However, we will gradually complete this list until all markers are included.

Simply click on your desired marker and you will be taken to the PDF:

Draw with an outliner, such as the Neuland FineOne® Outliner with a round tip.

Step 2: Get creative!

Once you've printed the correct document, grab an outliner and get started. Now you can let your creativity flow! The area at the bottom of the page has the same aspect ratio as the print area of your chosen marker, so make sure you stay within the dotted line when drawing or lettering.

And don't forget to use an outliner, as this will be important in the next step. This also ensures that your design is printed in rich black. And that's exactly the right color for printing on all Neuland markers with light-colored barrels (like Neuland BigOne® Art and Neuland FineOne® Flex ). If you want the print to be white, you can change the print color later in the configurator. Generally, we recommend single-color prints in black or white to achieve optimal contrast with the barrel color.

Please note that the paper you are drawing on is larger than the final marker print. Especially with text, it is therefore important that it remains legible even in a reduced size.

Step 3: Vectorize the drawing

Happy with your work? Then take a photo of it with your smartphone or tablet and crop it along the dotted line. You can then use an app to convert the photo into a scalable vector graphic (SVG). If you have a scanner, you can of course use that as well.

With the Vectornator app for iOS, you only need a few clicks: After importing your cropped photo, simply tap once inside the image so that a frame appears. Then tap the small convert icon and select SVG. Voila – you can now save the graphic to your phone or send it to your PC via email or AirDrop.

Step 4: Drag and drop to the configurator

Now, simply drag and drop the finished graphic into our configurator . Select the same marker you chose at the beginning. Then adjust the size and position, and if you're happy with it, request a quote. We'll then send you a confirmation email.

Still have questions about the configurator? You can find detailed step-by-step instructions here .

Step 5: Printing

The last step is the most challenging: now you have to be patient for up to two weeks until you hold your finished Your Markers in your hands. But it's worth it, we promise! We hope you have lots of fun with your very own personalized Neuland Markers! ♥
