Meet Neuland Toolmaster® Michaela Fischer

Meet Neuland Toolmaster® Michaela Fischer

Michaela Luise Fischer is one of those people who become more and more interesting the longer you spend with them. A graduate in business administration, she has been a self-employed trainer, coach, and facilitator since 2001. She is also one of the communication guides , a name some of you may already be familiar with. And let's be honest: her list of additional qualifications and years of experience might seem intimidating, but all of that quickly fades into the background when you meet Michaela Fischer in person.

After working in various industries, she developed her own concepts for practical inspiration in everyday life and work. This perhaps explains the incredible calm and serenity she exudes. As you can see, each of our Neuland Toolmaster®s is something special. Of course, we want you to be able to form your own opinion of Michaela. That's why we conducted an interview with her. We hope you enjoy it! 🙂

Dear Michaela, what should we absolutely know about you?

    • I prefer fun ideas, trying things out, and good conversations to fixed routines and strict guidelines.
    • For me, encounters in freedom, curiosity and tolerance are important pillars of my partnerships – both professional and private.
    • My nieces and nephew are important to me as sources of inspiration – for shaping the future and making it worth living for the children.
    • I sometimes need a helping hand with technical stuff… my favorite is my husband Stefan's. 😉
    • I am always ready to learn something new and love to perceive beauty… This also describes my love for Neuland.

That was beautifully said. And which three hashtags best describe you?

#Host of exquisite conversations

#HeartThinker

#Courage to be myself

We've already learned quite a bit about you. Was there a specific moment when you decided to do what you're doing today? And why did you decide to do it?

Facilitation: 2011 – at a visualization training course at Neuland 😉

Because… each of the guides is working in their own way, yet with a shared spirit, to make our working world a little more harmonious for ourselves, for others, and for the world. Each in their own way and in their own manner – within our guide tribe.

My decision to enter the workforce as a self-employed facilitator / consultant / coach came in 2001 with the realization that while I could work in corporations and salaried structures, my true joy begins when I creatively do things with few routines and a lot of common sense that feel right: listening – asking questions – redesigning.

Since you just mentioned it yourself: What goes through your heart and/or hand when you hear the word facilitation ?

Facilitate means on the one hand to enable – that's the colors and the inkwell – but also to facilitate – that's the pen…

An advertising agency once used this image on one of my flyers:

This is another classic example of how a picture is worth a thousand words. Is there an experience in your life that has particularly shaped you?

My stay as 'Cultural Representative of Germany' in Florida in 1990/91... a little "spot the difference" picture is attached – I'm curious to see if you can find me. 😉

Of course we recognize you, you look exactly the same today. 😉 Now for a slightly different question: A penguin knocks on your window and asks if you can help him learn to fly. Which Neuland product would you recommend?

FlipChart sketch@work – stylish and suitable for all formats – whether as a visualization table or as a launchpad – indispensable!

Do you have any final tips or anything you'd like to share with our community? It could even be a drawing.

You may have done this unconsciously, but this image isn't just valuable because of the information on the page; it also demonstrates very well how you can create extremely versatile effects with just a few markers. Thank you so much for taking the time, Michaela!

And because it was so lovely, we're adding another memory from Michaela's Disney past as a final picture. 🙂
