Neuland AcrylicOne: how to refill it
Teilen
If you need opaque colors for lettering or visualization, then the AcrylicOne markers from the extensive Neuland marker range are the right choice. Of course, these are also refillable, making them a good choice both economically and ecologically.
To make refilling as easy and trouble-free as possible, here are our instructions:

A. Preparation
Before filling, please place a protective surface underneath the valve and pen tip. To keep your hands clean, it is advisable to wear disposable gloves.

1. Shake the refill bottle well.
The two marbles inside the bottle should be audible, as they ensure the even mixing of the paint inside the bottle.

2. Open Marker
Carefully unscrew the cap from the thread and place it on the provided surface.

3. Remove the valve
Carefully remove the valve and place it on the provided surface.

4. Fill marker
Fill the ink directly into the pen body by gently squeezing the refill bottle!

5. Close the marker again.
Insert the valve and screw the pin cap back onto the pin body.
6. “Pumping” the marker
Pumping the marker tip several times starts the ink flow. Place paper underneath and only pump on a horizontal surface (not on the board)!
Here are a few more important tips:
Store with the head facing upwards!
AcrylicOne markers differ significantly from the markers in the No.One, BigOne, and FineOne series. They have a valve and mixing balls inside the marker.
Therefore, it is not recommended to store them with the "head" facing down. If you were to do so, acrylic paint pigments could accumulate in the valve and clog it. Pay attention to the correct storage method for these special markers.
Don't borrow money from the blackboard!
When pumping, the valve inside the marker opens and the acrylic paint flows into the tip. The marker should be held as vertically as possible. We strongly recommend doing this on a table with a suitable mat. Pumping on a tilted or wall-mounted board can cause unwanted paint to leak from the marker's ventilation slots.
Shake well!
Acrylic paint consists of pigments, binders, and water as a solvent. Since these components settle over time, it's important to remix them by shaking the marker or refill bottle thoroughly. This process sets the two glass marbles inside the marker or refill bottle in motion, performing this task. Only when you hear a "clicking" sound are these marbles actually moving. If the marker remains silent, the marbles may still be in the thicker part of the acrylic paint. In that case, keep shaking until you can clearly hear the clicking.
