Neuland in the flow

Although we really enjoy coming to the office to brainstorm new ideas or make our products just a little bit better, some of us from Neuland are drawn to the great outdoors on weekends. Even better if that can be combined with work and you can spend the weekend on an island. That's why we spontaneously decided to head to Munich to set up camp at FlowFest .
On the beautiful Praterinsel, we first encountered a group of people who looked suspiciously athletic and were in the process of filling a kind of one-person pool with ice water. An ice bath has more benefits than you might think. It activates brown fat cells, strengthens the immune system, and promotes muscle regeneration.

The term "flow" describes a state of complete immersion in one's current activity. It's a feeling akin to being in a trance, but without the negative side effects; you're highly focused and achieve optimal results. This state can only be reached when you are fully absorbed in your work. FlowFest is about learning to read your own body and transcending your perceived limitations. These principles are also crucial for visualization, as it involves movement not just of the hand, but of the entire body. Visualization requires both flexibility and intense concentration, as well as mindfulness. Anyone who works as a graphic recorder or visual facilitator, or regularly creates lettering, knows this all too well.

Topics like fitness, nutrition, exercise, and sleep were the focus of the three-day FlowFest. And in between, we were there with our markers and the large V3 XL . Because creative minds are everywhere, and their favorite tools have chisel, round, and brush tips. Besides, when admiring toned bodies, an important topic is often overlooked: mental fitness. Many people meditate or focus by writing in their bullet journal morning and evening to record plans, experiences, and goals.

And that's where we come in: With our BulletProof and SketchOne, you can easily track your fitness, mood, or sleep. And if you want to decorate your modern diary as beautifully as many do on Pinterest and other sites, you can find a quiet spot with the Handlettering Learning Pad to go and the ArtMarker and start writing.
You can find more information about bullet journaling here .

But that's not all! Of course, we had another ace up our sleeve: Neuland Ambassador® Filippo Buzzini fearlessly basked in the sun on Saturday and documented the entire event on the beach using our GraphicWall V3 XL . And the four-meter-wide artwork is truly impressive!
By the way: Filippo has already traveled through Switzerland with the V3 . It folds up easily and quickly, fits perfectly into the handy carrying case , and can be set up almost anywhere. The trip was, of course, documented, and a pretty cool video resulted… to say the least. 😉
