Strategic reorientation: Dr Markus Ross takes over as Head of Corporate Communications at Neuland

Neuland GmbH & Co. KG is restructuring its communications team: Dr Markus Ross (51) took up the position of Head of Communications on 1 March 2026. In this key role, he is responsible for all corporate communications as well as the strategic direction of marketing. A core objective of his role is to significantly enhance the public profile of Neuland GmbH & Co. KG’s public profile, both regionally and nationwide.

Dr Markus Ross possesses in-depth expertise in brand management and strategic PR. Before joining Neuland GmbH & Co. KG, the holder of a PhD in Business Administration (specialising in corporate communications) worked for over nine years as a freelance brand and communications consultant for leading German companies. Previously, he held management positions including Director of Marketing and Communications at Altran (now Capgemini Engineering) in Munich, Senior Brand Manager at Pieroth Wein AG in Burg Layen, and Project Manager for Marketing/PR at the logistics service provider GO! General Overnight in Bonn. The trained journalist also holds an MBA in e-commerce.
