Fifty years ago, if someone had told us that the small company Neuland from the Hessian countryside would one day find friends all over the world, we probably would have shaken our heads skeptically. Today, it's a reality: you can find our products almost anywhere, whether you're in Korea or New Zealand, Denmark, France, or the USA. And we owe this success in no small part to the people who love our products so much that they sell them with dedication and enthusiasm: they are our Official Resellers.
And that's exactly who we're introducing in this post: We invited country by country and team by team to tell us something about themselves. We received short and longer texts, pictures, and sometimes even a video. We'll be publishing their stories gradually in this blog post.

The story of Neuland and us begins in 2010.
It was pure chance that we came across Neuland's products. We were looking for suitable materials for our editors and that's how we noticed Neuland. We were immediately impressed by their professional products and decided to contact them. We learned that there wasn't yet an official Neuland reseller in the Czech Republic. So we requested a meeting. We visited Neuland in Eichenzell, and the resulting collaboration has continued ever since.
Our favorite products are the BigOne markers and the flipcharts, especially those with the colored felt selection.
We mainly use the four basic colors (100, 200, 300 and 400). In addition, the pink and purple tones from set no. 13 “Wild Berries” are among the most popular colors.

I have been an official Neuland reseller for 12 years now.
My personal Neuland journey, however, began 24 years ago: At that time, I worked for the Hungarian Neuland reseller and immediately fell in love with the products and their creative potential. When this retail partner ceased operations, it was clear to me: I wanted to continue working with Neuland. Without hesitation, we founded our own company – and have been an official distributor with great enthusiasm ever since.
Only our favorite products change from time to time. Currently at the top: the Estatics and the BigOne Art Marker in color 305-Ocean.

How did Austria actually come to embrace this new approach – or was it the other way around? It goes back quite a while: My father, who passed away at the beginning of this year, was a true pioneer of the moderation method and shaped its development live in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and beyond from the 1970s onwards. He was involved from the very beginning as this unique communication method, MODERATION/Facilitation, not only gained momentum but also sparked new needs – for example, for mobile pinboards.
And that was exactly the starting point for Neuland: The ingenious Neuland Seniors recognized this need and implemented it perfectly – from that moment on, Neuland became a household name in Austria!
To this day, Neuland remains a pioneer when it comes to tools for genuine communication and visualization. Thank you, Guido, for pursuing this path with so many ideas and such dedication! We love Neuland tools because they pursue only one goal: to make collaboration easier and work perfectly.
You can't work professionally with poor-quality materials – we know that from years of experience. That's why we focus on quality, combine it with hands-on activities at various locations, sometimes host special seminars for the first time (not just on visualization), and remain committed to delivering inspiring, first-hand insights (from us and our trainers).
A real highlight is our INSPIRATION Day: the vibrant congress where we implement what is important to us – combining the best methods, tips and tricks for dynamic training sessions into one large event – it will take place for the twelfth time this year on September 19th.
One product we particularly appreciate: the EuroFlip – it doesn't get much more ingenious than this. Super lightweight, usable as a flipchart and pinboard, and durable. Visualizing has never been so enjoyable – and that's exactly what Neuland is all about.

The Prêt à Former team
I first visited Neuland Eichenzell in April 2024 and have been officially active as a reseller since the beginning of this year.
How I came to this is actually quite ordinary: I discovered the possibilities, the professionalism and the quality of Neuland markers – and these are truly not everyday 🙂 – and unfortunately found that only a few people in France know about these great products.
The rest is history – which begins now.
Our absolute favorite products from the Neuland range are the BigOne Art and Estatics Markers. For us in France, these are truly WOW products – our trainers rely on them when it comes to making a difference. And of course, we love the wide range of colors in the No.One Art range.
Oh yes: and to answer the question of which marker colors we like best: black and of course our brand color Orange 600 and Grey 107 for the shadows.
Of course, we adapt to our clients' brand colors if necessary. 😉

We've been living here in Mallorca for 35 years now. I first came to the island as a windsurfing instructor. After that, I was an F&B manager at a hotel and later a construction manager. I met Neuland Senior on a construction site – and that's when it all started: In 2002, I registered my own business and launched Neuland.
Today we have over 200 flipcharts and pinboards available for rent, and seminar groups – not just German ones – are consistently impressed by our capabilities. Spanish teams are equally enthusiastic about our services, whether they come from hospitals or pharmaceutical companies, the university or the government of Mallorca – they use Neuland's EuroPin MC to put their thoughts and concepts on the board. And they enjoy it, just as I continue to enjoy the personal connections that have developed over the years.
My favorite product is the EuroPin MC, and my favorite marker colors are black and red.

Sustainable workshop supplies – From passion to purpose
Sketchcrafters.com is a very new company, only about 10 months old. We launched our eCommerce shop as an official Neuland reseller on July 9, 2024. Some journeys begin with a plan, others unfold organically, sparked by a moment of inspiration. Sketchcrafters was born from this inspiration: a passion that transformed into a goal.
As an agile coach and facilitator, I spent years supporting teams in tackling complex challenges. I knew that the human brain processes and stores information best through visual representations, yet for a long time I hesitated to create visuals myself. "I wish I could..." I thought, until one day I asked myself, "How do I...?"
I started with a micro-exercise every day and called it the #5minutehabitchallenge. Sharing my progress on LinkedIn connected me with exceptional visual practitioners, which almost inevitably led me to Neuland.
Trying Neuland markers was a game-changer. My still-imperfect drawings reached the next level – no smudging, no bleeding onto the paper, beautiful colors, consistent ink flow across the page – I was thrilled. Plus, all Neuland markers are eco-friendly, refillable, and have replaceable nibs. No more dried-out markers and no more waste! I had found the perfect products to enhance my visual skills and learning.
But there was another problem – there were no Neuland resellers in the US. Orders from Europe could take a long time and be expensive. I wasn't alone in facing this problem. That's when I had an idea: Why not create a place where people like me could find the tools they need, love, and trust?
And so Sketch Crafters was born – not as an office supply store, but as a specialized resource for professionals who rely on visual communication to make a difference. Every product is something I personally use and stand behind. It's not just about selling products, but more about fostering learning, communication, and ideation, and making every workshop more engaging and effective.
I love all Neuland products – their design, quality, and eco-friendliness. If I had to choose just one, it would be their markers, especially the outliners in all sizes. Even when I travel, I take some of my Neuland markers with me to practice. The Neuland FineOne® Outliner is always one of them. My favorite colors are 601 Red-Orange, 303 Pastel Blue, and 500 Brilliant Yellow.

#11: South Korea – Creative Maker

I have been an official Neuland Reseller since 2018, so for six years now.
I first encountered facilitation when I became a trainer at Volkswagen and received training at their headquarters in Germany. I was deeply impressed by the way the participants respected and listened to each other's opinions, regardless of what they said. That, for me, was the most remarkable aspect of facilitation.
Furthermore, I was fascinated by how NEULAND's various tools facilitated a natural flow to the sessions. They helped everyone concentrate better and made the experience more enjoyable. This struck me because in Korea, if someone expresses an idea that deviates from the norm, it is often dismissed or disrespected. This makes it difficult even for older and more experienced people to freely express their thoughts.
I have come to believe that NEULAND's tools are incredibly helpful in creating an environment where people can freely express their ideas and listen respectfully to others. This inspired me to introduce these tools to the people of Korea.
Two examples come to mind:
- The vision of a satellite startup team at Seoul National University moved me so much that I gave them a pinboard to make their meetings smoother and more productive.
- People fleeing from North Korea to our country are called "Saeteomin." Seateo means "New Homeland." In South Korea, there is a training center that helps them adapt and open up in their new environment. And here, Neuland products are used to foster trust and connection during their sessions.
My favorite Neuland product is the UniPin® 2 UT pinboard because I can use it both horizontally and vertically , and its light weight makes it easy to transport. It allows me to freely visualize ideas and rearrange the pinboard's position as needed.
My favorite marker color is the black outliner, which I like to use together with a shade of gray. This creates a sense of depth, making the drawings look more attractive.
I add accents with the BigOne markers in orange and green.

The story of Sketch Group + Graphic Gear and Neuland
I've been an official Neuland dealer since 2018. A year earlier, in 2017, I met Guido Neuland at the IFVP conference in Atlanta, USA. At the time, I was fairly new to graphic recording and was surprised by how enthusiastic the conference attendees were about Neuland markers. Knowing there wasn't a dealer in Australia or New Zealand, I thought I should apply.
This decision was a pretty big deal for me, but I remember thinking, "If I buy $10,000 worth of products now and can't sell them, my team and I will probably just end up using them ourselves!" So it also seemed like a relatively low-risk endeavor. My company is called Sketch Group (we provide explainer videos, illustrations, and graphic recordings). Originally, we wanted to house the Neuland dealer business under the same brand and call it "Sketch Tools." However, we realized that the target audience was completely different. In fact, our customers were different presenters and graphic recorders—it was a completely different business and therefore needed its own brand.
So, in 2018, we launched Graphic Gear, an online shop for Australian and Kiwi enthusiasts of visual thinking. We sell a range of Neuland markers, books, and presentation products, as well as some of our own products.
I quickly realized that being a graphic recorder myself helps me in sales conversations. People call us or drop by with questions about the markers. And because I use them myself every day, I can speak knowledgeably about the differences between the various markers and nibs, and about refilling. I can also show examples of my work – and that's why my advice is authentic and convincing.
My absolute favorite Neuland marker is definitely the Neuland BigOne® Art. I love the lettering I can achieve with the brush tip! And my favorite color is Ocean 305. It's so versatile. I like to combine it with other warm colors, like yellow, orange, and red. It's so versatile!
