What happens when science and technology meet? How will collaboration among scientists in an open and dynamic community develop over the next five years? These were the questions addressed by 120 scientists at a US conference on the UCSD campus.

Graphic Footprints was there to support the participants in this exciting work by providing live-drawn visual logs.
The visualizers
Sophia Liang and Wyn Wilson from graphic footprints accompanied the conference and provided the “visual protocols,…

…which were then installed as a freestanding visual collage in the foyer. Here are the two graphic facilitators after their work was done. 🙂
Here is the view in the foyer again.

As always, when conference content is visualized, it is a real magnet for the participants, who can thus reflect on what has happened.

…and here is the view from the auditorium.
