Good Design® Award 2021 for the Neuland FineOne®
We have reason to celebrate! Our innovative FineOne® has received the Good Design® Award 2021 – the oldest and most prestigious award presented worldwide. What an honor!
How it all began
Over 70 years ago, some of Chicago's most prominent architects and designers joined forces to recognize the most outstanding designs by the best inventors and designers. This first group of judges included pioneers such as Charles and Ray Eames, Russell Wright, George Nelson, and Eero Saarinen, along with Edgar Kaufmann Jr., then curator of the Museum of Modern Art.
Since then, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press have presented the Good Design® Award annually for products and graphics in 32 categories. And now the Neuland FineOne® has also received one – in the "office products" category. Having just won the German Design Award 2021 , this makes two trophies in one year. Not bad, right? 😉
When is it Good Design® ?
This award is all about high-quality product design. The focus is on the form, function, and aesthetics of products and graphics. For us, this award means that the Neuland FineOne® embodies excellent quality, durability, and functionality. It's a symbol of having reached the highest international design standard. No wonder we're all bursting with pride.
