The creativity of the many…
The EduCamp has now taken place eleven times in Germany, most recently from April 12th to 14th at the Bugenhagen School in Hamburg. But what exactly is an EduCamp? Unlike traditional conferences, the camp is self-organized, meaning the participants are responsible for the events and their content. The main focus is on media education issues, but general forms and methods of learning and teaching are also addressed.

The aim is therefore to bring together people from different educational sectors and to jointly explore innovative forms, formats, technologies, and strategies of media-supported learning. Founded by the three media scholars Steffen Büffel, Marcel Kirchner, and Thomas Bernhardt, it has been held twice a year since 2008.
