DIY Herb Chair
Teilen
Do you have old chairs that you no longer need? Don't throw them away! I'll show you what you can do with them!
You will need:
- An old chair (mine are from the trash)
- Napkins with a beautiful design
- Napkin varnish
- Paint brush
- Planting bowl or bucket
- And possibly clear coat (for exterior use)
So you take an old chair and first unscrew the seat cushion. Then you separate the napkins, because you only need the top layer.
Tip: Gently blow on the corner, then the layers will separate quite well.
Armed with a brush and decoupage glue, tear off small pieces of napkin according to the pattern and stick them onto the chair. The napkin pieces can overlap and should cover the entire surface in the end.
Alternatively, you can of course also decorate the chair (or other furniture) with Neuland AcrylicOne. In the Neuland blog , ambassador Renatta Algalarrondo shows which surfaces this works best on.
Now all you have to do is let it dry and then spray it with clear varnish. Then place the planter in the seat and plant it. – Done!
Tip: If you don't have a planter, drill a few holes in the bottom of the bowl to allow water to drain. If you don't have a planter, you can also staple a piece of chicken wire and plastic sheeting to the chair.
The AcrylicOne is available in three different sizes: FINE (7756.0501), MEDIUM (7754.0501) and BIG (7752.0501).
Want to order from Austria or Switzerland ? No problem! Simply enter the item number into the search function of the respective shop and you're good to go.
