"Understanding trends – shaping the future!" – That was the theme of the degefest conference in Osnabrück.
What is currently driving the event industry, what trends are there and what significance do they have for the sector?
The German congress association degefest addressed these questions during its annual conference from June 14th to 16th, 2018 in Osnabrück. Particular focus was placed on the following topics:
- Consequences of digitalization
- feminization
- Knowledge management
- Knowledge transfer
- Initial and continuing education
- Social media
The conference at the Osnabrückhalle offered a successful mix of diverse formats, such as keynote speeches, workshops, Pecha Kucha, and fishbowl discussions, allowing for in-depth exploration of these exciting topics. Simply listening to boring lectures half-asleep is a thing of the past!
Of course, we at Neuland® , as a long-standing partner of degefest , couldn't be missing with our diverse visualization and moderation equipment!
The numerous events were also complemented by a trade exhibition, where participants could learn about new products from our suppliers, among others.
Ann-Janine Hoffmann and Wolfgang Hain met "old acquaintances" and were also pleased to attract many new faces to the innovative furniture and practical visualization tools from Neuland® :

The work walls can be set up in any configuration, making them ideal for structuring spaces. This creates a variety of learning environments that are more engaging, conducive to productivity, and less tiring.

Hille Czygan also provided impressively beautiful and quick visuals to accompany the workshops. On the Neuland GraphicWall V3 , she lovingly captured the essence of the topics in her handcrafted drawings.
It was a thoroughly successful event, offering plenty of input for the participants and providing a good platform for exchange and networking.
