Das ist eine Twin-Twin-Situation

This is a twin-twin situation.

Two peaks, then. Hmmm, so two that together are doubly peaked? Sounds good.

A marker with two tips is incredibly practical. I mean, two in one. Two in one: shampoo plus conditioner, shower gel plus body lotion. What could possibly come next? That's right, the Neuland TwinOne® , the marker with a chisel and brush tip in one casing! Amazing!

Letter faster than your shadow in different styles

The Neuland TwinOne® offers two completely new tips, based on the two most popular tips: the classic chisel tip and the brush tip, as you know it from the Artmarker. Both tips have built up a real fan base over the years. Nevertheless, it's important to deliver something new, which is why the size of the brush tips in the Neuland TwinOne® has been changed. They have been made smaller.

"Store Horizontally" is a new instruction for a water-based marker, but it's unavoidable when there's a tip on both ends. Which tip should you favor? The ink needs to distribute evenly between both tips. However, if you've already settled on one side, you can store the TwinOne with your preferred tip facing down. It won't harm the marker. Due to gravity, the ink on one side will be ready to use immediately.

The Neuland TwinOne® is also perfectly suited for sketchnoters and anyone else who works on smaller formats . While some nibs can be a bit too thick on small formats, the TwinOne allows you to unleash your creativity even on smaller paper sizes.

Now, let's get to the pen!

Do you see that in the picture too?

When you apply the brush tip of the TwinOne, the resulting lettering appears drier, but at the same time reveals more contour. This gives the words more dynamism and a watercolor effect. And that's definitely in vogue right now.

In this case, firm pressure was applied during lettering, which is why the effect is visible. Yours might be completely different. You might press less hard, in which case your lines will appear much lighter or more delicate.

In the third variation, the tip was only half-placed, without applying intense pressure to the marker. This allows for much smaller writing, for example in your sketchbook or on a small paper format.

The new wedge tip behaves similarly. It is designed so that it can also be used for finer work. Furthermore, it is very flexible and feels somewhat softer.

With the current variety of lettering styles (see also Heather's book ), it's necessary to sometimes slightly rotate the marker to achieve a specific effect. Sometimes it works, sometimes it goes wrong, with the S, the G, or the O. Of course, especially with the O. You really need to be a skilled visualizer to get the O onto the page properly. You need a lot of practice so your brain is calm and lets you do it: "Just do it! But don't say I didn't warn you!"

When you then turn to the new TwinOne® , as an experienced visualizer you have already put your message on the flipchart by quickly rotating the marker so that it results in perfect lettering.

How on earth do I refill the Neuland TwinOne® ? There's no hole in it!

We've come up with something really crazy here. It's called unscrewing! Yes, you can unscrew the marker to refill it. Of course, if there are two tips, there's no hole, and where there's no hole, you have to screw it in. You can learn how to refill it in the Markerpedia .

The refilling rule also applies to your favorite colors, by the way.

Wow, the TwinOne comes in 15 popular colors, surely one of your favorites is among them, right? Well, if you'd prefer the 304 or the 704, you can order the Neuland TwinOne® as an empty marker and simply fill it with your favorite colors. Isn't that great? You're ordering the same ink you already use for your other markers. Amazing! That's really well thought out, isn't it?

Shout "That's a dream!" if you like it too. And psst, there will soon be even more alternative tips for the TwinOne. Check the shop in the next few weeks.

All TwinOnes in one package. That's definitely a great gift for all brand addicts.
