It all begins with a form

Crafting has something calming, even therapeutic, about it for me. Especially since I have to stay home right now. That's why I want to share a project with you for which you most likely already have all the "ingredients" at home. Link to the video
Ages ago, I stumbled upon a book series on Creative Play. I borrowed a few from the library and picked them up whenever I needed a creative idea or inspiration. When I opened Ernst Röttger's book, Creative Paper Craft, I immediately envisioned my next project. I grabbed an empty pizza box from the night before and a few other materials…

I love being able to reuse things like pizza boxes. Since I'm a fan of strong contrasts, I decided to play with black and white. But you can do whatever you like best. Feel free to try different projects. I'm excited to see what you come up with! Now it's time to grab your tools and craft along with me!
And if you just paused the video and thought, "38:40? No time for that," then you can find a shorter version on my website , without my creative thoughts between the individual steps.
If just watching the video helps you and you feel a little less stressed afterwards, that's great too. But I still hope that you can realize one or two of your own projects as well.
It's simple and satisfying. And while there's a lot of uncertainty right now, it's nice to have a little bit of control, even if it's just control over a piece of cardboard, a pair of scissors, and some glue.
When you upload your project, please use the hashtag #startwithashape so we can all see it!
