Design tips for a beautiful bullet journal
Teilen
We all know them: those gorgeous bullet journals on Pinterest that discourage you before you've even started. But it doesn't have to be that way! We'll show you some simple tricks to make your journal more beautiful – without much effort.
1. Use stickers!
No one can claim that it's not super quick. If you combine your keywords with images, they'll stick in people's minds better and look much more appealing. Add a little color and you're done!

2. Use color!
Even if you prefer a simpler look... a few nice pastel shades are better than no color at all. For example, you can color your bullet points, underline the headings, or simply frame the entire page in color. Shadows also make a great impression. You can easily create them with one of our gray tones.
Tip: If your journal has different categories (calendar, tracker, collections, etc.), you can assign a color to each category and then frame the pages in the corresponding color. Or you can simply stick a bit of washi tape to the edge of the page so you can see which category it is, even from the outside.

3. Just do it!
Many people are afraid their journal won't look perfect. But that's precisely what makes it so charming! Of course, you can draw all your lines with a ruler, but it's faster to do it freehand. Why not start with dashed or dotted lines? It's easier and even adds some variety. If you like, you can then trace over the line with a color.
Tip: When drawing the line, look at the point where you want to go, not at the marker or at the line you've already drawn. It might seem like a trivial tip, but it actually helps many people who have trouble with this.
