Federal Cross of Merit for Neuland Toolmaster® Ivo Haase
On behalf of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Ivo Haase was recently awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his outstanding social commitment to the state of Brandenburg.
He is considered an "entrepreneur with a big social heart" and he proves this several times through his active commitment.
A brief insight into Ivo's volunteer work:
As an "ambassador of warmth," he is involved in the heat network. He is chairman of the sponsoring association of the Märkischer Jugendchor (Brandenburg Youth Choir) and also of the Ruppin Business Association. And that's not all: he is also the founding president of the Leo Club Neuruppin.
Since 2010, with the "Schulstart" project, he has ensured that children from families who rely on the Neuruppin food bank or have come to the region as refugees receive school supplies and a schoolbag set.
With the student company “Tasca”, he makes career and study orientation tangible at the Evangelical School Neuruppin and provides free training workshops.
Ivo is also committed to supporting people between the ages of 18 and 40. Through the global organization "Junior Chamber International," he shares his knowledge with young people worldwide. The goal of this initiative is to bring about positive changes in society and to show young people opportunities for development.
With the "100x50 for our homeland" campaign, he succeeded in supporting regional retailers, restaurateurs and service providers during the Corona pandemic and in bringing joy to dedicated people with the vouchers he acquired.
Anyone who thinks that's all – far from it. The animals also benefit from Ivo's support, and he is equally committed to the Kunsterspring Animal Park, honoring the voluntary work of the animal sponsors with the "Animal Sponsor Calendar".
Ivo's truly impressive dedication has long since won us over. He revealed to us some time ago in an interview how he manages to juggle all this commitment with his job, private life, and his role as a Neuland Toolmaster®.
