Neuland at the Hessentag in Fulda: Practical experience for our young talents
Teilen
This year, together with the BVMW, Neuland participated at the Hessentag in Fulda with a joint exhibition stand. On June 14 and 15, our onsite team was supported by two of our young talents: Dominik Böer and Kai-Dominik Kramer.
Dominik has recently successfully completed his apprenticeship as a customer service & sales support agent and has now joined our field sales team. Kai-Dominik is currently in his first year of training in the same role. We spoke to both of them about their experiences at the event.
The Hessentag traditionally attracts a large audience. How did you experience the days in Fulda?
Kai-Dominik:
There was a great deal of activity throughout the event. The level of interest was very encouraging not only from visitors specifically looking for visualization tools, but also from people from the region who simply wanted to learn more about Neuland as a company. For me, as a first-year trainee, it was an exciting and valuable experience. As a long-established company with strong regional roots, it was important for us to present ourselves and our products to the wider public.
Which products attracted the most attention?
Dominik:
One of the clear favorites was our WorkshopCase Novario® Pin-It Basic. Its practical organization system really resonates with users. The EuroFlip also generated a lot of interest as a versatile mobile presentation tool. Anyone who regularly presents, facilitates, or conducts workshops quickly recognizes its advantages.
Kai-Dominik:
Our new Neuland product booklets were also very well received. They provide a clear and concise overview of our product range and gave visitors something useful and tangible to take home.
Dominik, you've completed your apprenticeship and are now starting in field sales. Was the trade fair a good introduction?
Dominik:
Definitely. Engaging directly with customers at a trade fair is both intensive and rewarding. You quickly gain an understanding of the questions, needs, and challenges customers have. It was an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and a perfect preparation for my new role in field sales.
Kai-Dominik, how was the experience of working together as a first-year trainee?
Kai-Dominik:
It was very straightforward and enjoyable. At Neuland, you're not simply thrown in at the deep end; instead, you're encouraged to work alongside your colleagues as part of the team from the very beginning. I was able to learn a great deal from Dominik's experience and picked up valuable insights that will certainly help me in future customer interactions.
Many thanks to Dominik and Kai-Dominik for their successful efforts and strong representation of our team in Fulda!
