Cool gear, but why is everything packed in plastic bags? Neuland Ambassador® Heather Martinez explains how she transports her tools when traveling. And some of these hacks might even be new to experienced facilitators…
In this short video, Heather gives us a look inside her Novario® Workshop Trolley and shows us how she stores markers and other supplies when she's on the go. We've summarized the most important tips below.
You can store your No.One and BigOne markers in different boxes: the Novario® No.One Box and the Novario® BigOne Box. PanPastels® , Pin-It cards , or smaller accessories can be stored in open Novario® boxes and closed storage boxes . This will make your bag look much tidier.
You can also store your markers in a PocketOne . Heather uses the small pouches for whiteboard markers and FineOnes , for example, but you can also store markers that need to be stored horizontally, like the new TwinOne or the No.One Metallic . The "Fill me up with LOVE" pouch is perfect for empty markers. That way, you'll never forget to refill your markers when you get home.
If you live in a dry area or plan to travel by plane, you can pack your markers in zip-top bags and then place them in your Novario® boxes. This will prevent the markers from drying out and eliminate the need to carry refill ink in every color imaginable.

Before an upcoming flight, you should also make sure to prepare the refill ink properly. Heather recommends screwing the original cap onto the bottle and storing it, along with the injection needle, in the original box. This should prevent damage to the needle and bulb during transport. Remember, however, that you'll have to go through airport security, and there are limits on the amount of liquids you're allowed to carry.
Besides markers and ink, Heather also often uses stencils. Since the Orbits and Hexits are quite flat, they fit perfectly in the inside pocket of the workshop trolley along with important documents.
Once you've neatly packed everything you need in your bag, you can, of course, add all sorts of other things. Heather's bag, for example, is surprisingly full. She also has room for charging cables, a lint brush, wet wipes, a first-aid kit, cough drops, and much more. And that's why she never has to pack her workshop trolley, because it's always fully equipped to meet her needs and ready to go!
