Wie Du mit visueller Meditation Freude teilen kannst

How you can share joy through visual meditation

This short article shows you how working with markers can be relaxing and bring joy to others at the same time. All you need is a blank postcard, a Neuland SketchOne, and a light gray ArtMarker.

Define the key points of your meditation artwork.

Tip: If this is your first time doing this, it's best to make the area a little smaller. You'll find out why in the next step.

Connect the lines and draw any outline within this frame.

Draw the lines from point to point. The outline you then draw is entirely up to you. Here it's the N from the Neuland logo. You can, of course, also use a heart or any other outline.

Divide the free areas and fill them with different patterns.

There are no limits to your creativity. Circles, lines, triangles, squares, hatching… anything the visual alphabet offers can be used here.

Trace the outlines you want to highlight.

Ideally, these are the ones you drew in your empty frame at the beginning.

Create shaded areas using the art marker.

This will make your contours stand out even better against the patterned background. Feel free to use gray wherever you like.

On the back: Address your card, write something loving, put a stamp on it and send it in the post!
