Hoi! I’m Brechtje Hendriks – a moderator, visual facilitator and coach based in Basel, Switzerland. I combine clarity with warmth, curiosity and a touch of Dutch lightness :). With over ten years of experience, I host conferences, workshops and interactive events across Europe. I also bring ideas to life visually through live drawings and graphic recording.
Visualisation is at the heart of what I do. I love translating complex topics into engaging visuals that make ideas easier to understand, remember and act on. My style is colourful, dynamic and full of energy – with a clear focus on what matters. Pretty much like me ;).
As a moderator, I create spaces where people feel comfortable to connect, exchange ideas and bring conversations to life. Whether on a big stage or in an intimate workshop, I bring a strong sense of timing, group dynamics and atmosphere – and I genuinely enjoy making things flow.
In my coaching work, I use visualisation as a powerful tool to support reflection, create focus and guide change processes. Upon request, I also offer in-house visualisation trainings for teams and organisations.
I work in German, English, Dutch and Spanish, and love collaborating with international clients across Europe. I’m actively involved in the visual facilitation community, supporting the European Visual Practitioners (EVP) network and serving as a board member of Visual Practitioners Switzerland.
I’m incredibly happy to be a Neuland Ambassador – because Neuland products are already part of my everyday work. I use them for sketchnotes, illustrations, graphic recordings, moderation and facilitation.
